Spring Break PIRATE Camp at the Michigan Maritime Museum

Is inviting young adventurers ages 10–14 to spend three action-packed days exploring Great Lakes history, science, and creativity through the lens of a life at sea—no sailing required!

PIRATE stands for Play, Imagine, Research, Adventure, Teamwork, and Explore, and campers will do just that as they investigate shipwreck mysteries, learn knots and navigation, design their own flags, and dive into the fascinating world of Michigan’s maritime past.

Hosted entirely on the Museum’s campus, this immersive program combines hands-on experiments, artifact exploration, and fun group challenges to inspire curiosity and teamwork—even when the ships are still in winter dock.

When: March 31, April 1 & April 2 (9am-3pm)

Ages: 10-14

Fee: $75
